Important Karaoke Notice:
Karaoke Shows are not Welfare for People to come out and Sing. If you are going to come out to Sing, Dance or Simply to enjoy the Show then Please Patronize the The Establishment. It's not fair that we have the same People who Patronize The Establishment and Tip; and then, have the same People who do not Patronize The Establishment or consider the KJ. After all, you are using The Establishments Air Conditioning, The Establishments Bathrooms, Toilet Paper, Bar supplies, Sitting on Bar Stools or seated at Tables and Generally using the Resources of The Establishment. After you leave, the Establishment must be cleaned so that the next day or night the Establishment is in a condition which is Inviting to all who enter. updated 6/26/2025
You in fact, are also using my resources; The Batteries in the Microphones you use; The Wipes I use to Clean the Microphones; The Sound System I have to upkeep. The never ending Parade of music which I have to Purchase and download at your request. Nothing is Free. This includes my Sound System which needs repair from time to time. If the Establishment does not make Revenue, then I am not entitled a raise. This Ladies and Gentlemen is called reality. Everyone continuously compliments my sound system, always saying how great it is; that it's the best around. Well, again the reality is that takes money! All of you who come to my shows know that I do have about the best sound system around. This is especially true regarding anyone in the mobile Karaoke industry here in South Florida. Yes! Of course I also take Pride in that! But my Sound system falls under repair from time to time. So, please understand that my expenses pertaining to running Karaoke Shows never goes down. They simply go up. updated 6/26/2025
For Example;
If there are 35 Singers in the Rotation and only 23 are actually spending money then logically the 12 Singers who decide not Patronize the establishment logically are not Entitled to be singing. I'm sorry, but I am not running a Government Entitlement Program. There is no inherent, right to sing in an Establishment which by definition derives it's income through persons who come in and Patronize The Establishment. This only makes for a long and agonizing Rotation with 5 or 10 or 12 singers having a bottle of water or in many cases just a Glass of Water or Soda with a stir stick. This Ladies & Gentlemen defies Common Sense and of course Logic. Mr. Spock's Blood would probably be boiling over at this point! updated 6/26/2025 Karaoke Shows must make Revenue in order to be successful. Ideally, it would make a lot more sense to have only 20 or 25 Singers at the most in a Rotation that Support the Show rather than adding other singers who do not. In some cases, some shows have a Minimum Per Person the must spend. Those shows are not the problem. However, in the case of a VFW or an American Legion there is no Minimum. In these examples their POS Systems (Point of Sale) have a Donation Button. So, for those of you who barely spend a dime maybe a $10 Donation or even more would be a nice option for coming in and spending a night with us. That would be the right thing and or yes the nice thing to do!
In any event. Please Contribute and Patronize. There are only so many Establishments that will bring in a Karaoke Show. Let's keep the ones we have going so that all who enjoy Singing, Dancing, Listening and Clapping can enjoy the Entertainment Value of Karaoke for Years to come! Thanks in Advance, for your understanding. Ray Langella RayYourDJ Ka-Ray-Oke Updated 6/26/2025
